Over the weekend of the 6th to 8th of May, the two Young Adult cell groups combined for a successful camp out at Glen Muir out on the East Coast.
Despite a wet and windy weather forecast for weekend, the camp went ahead (well done to the few who still braved the elements in tents) and in total we numbered 36 – a diverse group consisting of singles, couples and young families over the course of the weekend.
Many laughs at stories told, new friendships established, old ones renewed and spirits refreshed.
Even with the bleak weather, a good time of fellowship was had by all, as being indoors a bit more allowed us to enjoy many meaningful conversations and also to get to know everyone a little better!
Over the 3 days, we were lead ably by Marc through a 3 part series focusing on understanding worship (Revelation 4 and 5), which challenged many of our own personal convictions and motivated us to give careful thought about how we approach our worship.
But overall, a good time was had by all! Many laughs at stories told, new friendships established, old ones renewed and spirits refreshed.
Look out for the next one, next year!
